This major provides scientific knowledge in disciplines such as educational sociology, educational history, philosophy, educational philosophy and sociology. The major trains faculty members in education faculties in disciplines such as educational sociology, educational history and sociology. The aim of this major is to examine the socio-cultural characteristics of different groups, layers and regions of the society, along with the developmental characteristics of the society types and historical stages of education through disciplines such as educational sociology, educational history, philosophy, educational philosophy and sociology, and to conduct scientific research and meetings on their problems and solutions.
